DCBOE Announces Date for Random Selection of Precincts and Contests for Public Manual Audit of the 2024 General Election

DCBOE offices will be closed on Friday, September 27, 2024 to allow our staff to attend memorial services for our long time DCBOE colleague and friend, Robert “Reds” Hunter. We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, September 30, 2024

Logic & Accuracy Testing will be temporarily suspended on Friday, September 27, 2024. Testing will resume on Saturday, September 28 at 9:00 am.

The District of Columbia Board of Elections will conduct a public lottery on September 13, 2024 at 10:30 am to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot.

On September 16, 2024, the District of Columbia Board of Elections will begin the “Logic and Accuracy Testing” of voting equipment in preparation for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
